Kim Sum

A new dim sum champ handles the morsels served forth from its piled-high carts with grace. Make a day of it on a Saturday by taking a morning’s jaunt through the nearby Collingswood Farmers’ Market and, post-dim sum, shopping at Sun Seng supermarket, at the opposite end of Saigon Plaza.

KIM SUM, 5201 Route 38 West (in the shopping center known as Saigon Plaza), Pennsauken. Phone: 856-885-2288. Website: www.kimsumnj.com is under construction (Kim Sum opened in the spring and still is flashing its Grand Opening banner outside). Currently open daily, it offers dim sum cart service from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and its regular Chinese food menu when dim sum’s over and out. Good idea, until the site’s more specific, to call ahead to check times and make a reservation.
